The FAIR Alliance NPC is part of a broader alliance of not-for-profit organizations situated in the Cape Town, Western Cape whose sole purpose is to serve and service “downstream home- based” companies like ourselves, but that lack the knowledge and strategic relationships resources to fulfill their mission to the vulnerable black and PoC, Persons of Colour communities.
We are a group of committed South African Human Rights and Social Justice Activists who educate around improving our racial literacy, the values of social diversity and who are addressing the desperate need for the betterment of cultural competencies and are working towards racial and social cohesion among the ‘different’ race groups in South Africa.
We at The FAIR Alliance act as a financial and resources conduit through which other “home- based” not-for-profit organizations can get on with the business of doing the business that they know and understand best. It is in our remit only to understand their philosophy and their financial requirements, coupled with a good working relationship.
As Human Rights Activists both by vocation, choice and life purpose, we understand that it is
near impossible and frankly impractical to reeducate a hungry person who has no shelter, no
skills and as a result no job prospects.
As responsible socially active citizens of South Africa, it falls on people like us and others to
make a discernable difference and have a lasting impact on the vulnerable communities that
surround us. The simple application of American psychologist, Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of
needs is answer enough!
